Walder Wyss advises UVC Partners as lead investor in USD 24 million financing round of Metafuels AG

Walder Wyss has advised UVC Partners, headquartered in Berlin and Munich, as lead investor in the USD 24 million financing round of Metafuels AG, based in Adliswil, Switzerland. The financing round was joined by Energy Impact Partners (EIP), Contrarian Ventures, RockCreek, Verve Ventures and Fortescue.

Metafuels is active in the development, production and distribution of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF). The proceeds of the financing will be used to further scale production capacities and accelerate the commercial rollout of its SAF solutions, contributing to the decarbonisation of the aviation sector.
